EXCLUSIVE: Robert Aramayo has landed back to back roles on television and film. First up, he’s booked a still-secret role on the next season of HBO’s Game Of Thrones. He joins a growing list of new cast joining HBO’s hit fantasy series in its sixth season, among them Ian McShane and Max von Sydow. Details about the season, and Aramayo’s role, are still very much under wraps.
Aramayo has also landed a role in Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams, for Focus Features. The film is an adaptation of Tony And Susan, Austin Wright’s 1993 novel, which follows a woman named Susan Morrow who receives a package containing the manuscript of her ex-husband’s first novel. Reading it draws her into the fictional life of Tony Hastings, an ordinary man whose life is violently set off course, forcing Susan to confront her own life.
Aramayo will soon be seen in The Tourist, directed by Evan Oppenheimer, and in HBO’s upcoming miniseries Lewis And Clark, about the explorers who mapped and explored the enormous territory acquired by the U.S. in the Louisiana Purchase.
He recently graduated from Juliard and is repped by Paradigm, MJ Management, 42 in London and Rick Genow.
