It’s a big day for promotions at NBC’s Affiliate Relations unit. The operation will continue to be run by Jean Dietze, lifted to President from EVP, who reports to NBC Broadcasting Chairman Ted Harbert.
Meanwhile Scot Chastain was upped to EVP Affiliate Marketing and Development, continuing to report to Harbert. Chastain runs the groups that develop and distribute all network marketing, sales and advertising materials for affiliate and owned television stations.
And Rhonda Brockmann is now EVP Affiliate Relations Business and Legal Affairs, reporting to Dietze. Brockmann’s a 20-year vet who worked with CBS’ affiliates before joining NBC.
Dietze has worked in NBC Affiliate Relations since 1992. “She is loved by the Affiliates and everyone here at NBC, and I’m personally thrilled that she has agreed to extend her contract and remain chief steward of our vital network affiliate partnership,” Harbert says. “Alongside Jean, Rhonda and Scot have been dedicated champions of the network affiliate partnership which has had an important, lasting impact on our company.”
