Logo TV has promoted Pamela Post to SVP Original Programming and Series Development. Post will continue to serve as executive producer of Logo’s RuPaul’s Drag Race and oversee the strategic creation and development of the Viacom Media-owned cable network’s programming slate. Based in Los Angeles, she reports to Chris McCarthy, General Manager of VH1 and Logo.
“Pam has been the creative force behind Logo’s recent success as one of the fastest growing cable brands,” said McCarthy. “From drag queens to documentaries, she has both the experience and intuition to create compelling, creative content that resonates with a broad spectrum of audiences.”
Post also worked to close a deal with BBC North America to co-produce series Cucumber and Banana. She brought Secret Guide To Fabulous to Logo with executive producers Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos and recently launched the new series Food To Get You Laid. This year Post also started Logo Documentary Films, Logo’s first dedicated documentary division.
