Co-produced by Los Angeles-based MarVista Entertainment and Vancouver’s Two 4 the Money Media, Wild Ride follows Mark (Bragg) during that dream moment when Ashley, the most popular girl in his class, asks him to drive her to an exclusive pool party. Mark’s excitement comes to a quick halt when he comes down from cloud nine and remembers one minor detail – he doesn’t have his driver’s license. He’s tried five times and five times has failed. He needs to make this happen now! And so the wild ride begins. Giambrone plays Russell, Mark’s vertically challenged best friend.
This is the second title to be produced under the MarVista/Two 4 the Money Media co-venture as part of a multi-picture development deal with Disney XD. The first, Pants On Fire, starring Bradley Steven Perry, Joshua Ballard and Tyrel Jackson Williams, debuted on Disney XD in November.
Jon Rosenbaum (Pants On Fire, K.C. Undercover) directs from a script written by Matt Flanagan and David McHugh. Chris Gauthier (Once Upon A Time), Nicole Muñoz (Defiance), Tiera Skovbye (The Haunting Hour), and Kurt Ostlund (Mr. Young) also star. MarVista’s Fernando Szew and Robyn Snyder serve as Executive Producers alongside Two 4 the Money’s Kim Arnott and also Ivan Hayden. MarVista’s Larry Grimaldi and Gaylyn Fraiche also serve as executive producers; Ian Smith serves as Producer. MarVista holds global distribution rights, excluding Canada, where it is licensed to DHX for Family Channel/CHRGD.
Bragg is repped by Abrams Artists Agency, Levity Entertainment Group, and attorney Mark Temple. Giambrone is with CESD and Schachter/Brown.
