How To Get Away With Murder was the big story 2014 fall Premiere Week, with a very strong Live+Same Day rating (3.9 in 18-49) followed by a monster DVR lift (1.9 rating in Live+3), edged only by the season premiere of blockbuster comedy The Big Bang Theory (2.0).
After a surprisingly large -32% drop in its Season 2 premiere, HTGAWM came roaring back in Live+3 with the second-biggest premiere week L3 lift — a 1.51 rating (+56%) second only to Big Bang‘s 1.7.
