Howard Stern Bids Video Farewell To ‘America’s Got Talent’ After Final Show

The erstwhile King of All Media ended his four-season run as a judge on NBC’s America’s Got Talent tonight. Take a breath as you digest that. Now, have a look at a farewell video in which Howard Stern ruminates a bit while strolling through Manhattan.

“I felt really fortunate that I could be the guy responsible for bringing the show to New York,” he says in the black-and-white clip. He later says to a man on the street, “You know what — I did the most shocking thing in my career: I was on a family show.” Mixed in with some footage of his AGT moments are some genuinely humble and reflective words from the shock jock himself.
