Eric Szmanda, who has played forensic investigator Greg Sanders on CBS’s fading-to-black CSI: Crime Scene Investigation since the series debuted in 2001, has signed with Abrams Artists Agency for representation in all theatrical areas, the agency tells Deadline.
The announcement comes as CSI comes to an end with this Sunday’s two-hour series final. Szmanda has appeared in all but nine of the program’s 337 episodes. Szmanda also has appeared in such films as Rules of Attraction, Little Athens and 100 Girls, as well as other TV projects Shadow of Fear, Snow Wonder and The Net.
Abrams Artists Agency will represent Szmanda in all theatrical areas, including TV, film and stage. Szmanda’s stage work includes productions of The Nerd, Hyenas and Long Beach Opera’s La Indian Queen. The actor also has produced online comedy videos and music interviews, and co-founded online radio network Erockster.
