As Universal enjoys the biggest year any studio’s ever had, its LA theme park is focusing on its senior marketing team. Universal Studios Hollywood has upped Xiomara Wiley to EVP Marketing and Sales and David Miller to SVP Brand Marketing.
Wiley, who had been SVP, will oversee brand direction for the park and CityWalk, including strategy & insight, integrated marketing, sales, publicity and more. Since joining the company in 2009, she has spearheaded the launch of several thrill rides and plans for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which opens in the spring. Boosted from VP, Miller adds partnership marketing, including efforts with Comcast NBCU, to his existing oversight of ad development, promotions and media planning and buying.
