There is a lot of John Stamos out there nowadays. The Full House star is headlining the Fox comedy series Grandfathered set to premiere next month and he’s a big part of Netflix’s Fuller House reunion series. Stamos was also part of The Unauthorized Full House Story that aired on Lifetime on Saturday – at least a version of the actor and the Jesse Katsopolis character he played on the eight-season ABC show. Part of that grand tradition of behind-the-scenes bios from the A+E Networks-owned channel, the TV movie pulled in 1.6 million viewers with 777,000 adults 18-49.
That’s even with the 1.6 million total viewers that The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story had on September 1 last year, meaning the latest bio was bit of a disappointment for Lifetime like Saved By The Bell Story, which had a stronger 1.1 million in the demo. The Angela Bassett-directed Whitney TV movie that aired in mid-January this year drew 4.5 million total viewers and 2.1 million 18-49s. The most recent kingpin of the Lifetime TV pics is the October 2012 broadcast of Steel Magnolias, which had 6.5 million total viewers and 3 million adults 18-49.
