Broad Green Pictures and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment announced a multi-year agreement whereby the major studio will handle Blu-ray and DVD distribution for all Broad Green titles. Broad Green will continue to oversee sales and marketing.
Steve Nickerson, Broad Green’s president of home entertainment, and John Morici, Universal Home Entertainment managing director for U.S. & Canada, made the announcement today.
Broad Green, founded by Gabriel and Daniel Hammond, will distribute up to 16 specialty and wide-release pics per year across various platforms. The label’s upcoming slate includes 99 Homes, A Walk In The Woods, Infiltrator, Brain On Fire, Samba, I Smile Back and Learning To Drive, as well as Terrence Malick’s Knight Of Cups, Voyage Of Time and his untitled project starring Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Michael Fassbender.
