Sonya Walger (Lost, FlashForward) has joined the cast of ABC’s midseason thriller drama series The Catch. From Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers, The Catch centers on the strong, successful Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos). She’s a fraud investigator who’s about to be the victim of fraud herself by her fiancé Kieran (Peter Krause). Between her cases, she is determined to find him before it ruins her career.
Walger will take over the role of Zoe from Bethany Joy Lenz, who was cast in the pilot. Zoe is Kieran’s wife and partner in crime who loves her husband and loves their life — amoral though it may be — and she’s going to hang on tight as she senses him slipping away from her. Krause recently took over the role of Kieran from originally cast Damon Dayoub.
In addition to Enos and Krause, Walger joins previously cast Alimi Ballard, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Rose Rollins and Elvy Yost. The Catch was written by Jennifer Schuur. Executive producers are Schuur, Rhimes, Beers and Julie Anne Robinson. The Catch is produced by ABC Studios.
