SAG-AFTRA Releases Official Candidate Rosters For Upcoming Elections

The candidates list is final. SAG-AFTRA tonight sent out the official roster of members running for national and local office in the union’s upcoming elections. As previously reported, Ken Howard will run for re-election as SAG-AFTRA President against Patricia Richardson. The National Secretary-Treasurer race will pit Jane Austin against Jenny O’Hara. Austin also is running for president of the Los Angeles local against incumbent Clyde Kusatsu. Forty-five national board seats are up for election this year. A national voters guide can be viewed here. Executive VP and VPs will be elected at the SAG-AFTRA convention in October.

Ballots will be mailed out July 21 and are due August 20; the results are expected to be announced that night. The schedule is the same for the Los Angeles and New York local elections. Voter guides for the national officer elections and for each local with contested elections can be found here.
