Paula Kaplan Joins AwesomenessTV As Head Of Talent And Live Content

Longtime former Nickelodeon exec Paula Kaplan has been named Head of Talent and Live Content at AwesomenessTV. In the newly created position, Kaplan will lead the company’s talent initiatives and casting strategies in film and series production, as well as oversee the creation and execution of live events and programming.

During her 20 years at Nickelodeon Kaplan held several positions, including EVP, Original Programming & Live Events; EVP, Talent/General Manager, West Coast; SVP, Talent; and VP Talent Relations. She is also credited with building Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, which she executive produced. She left the company last year. Most recently Kaplan worked as a consultant for digital film companies, working on CBS Films’ 2015 release of The Duff.
