Jill Hennessy Joins CBS’ ‘Madam Secretary’

Crossing Jordan and Law & Order alum Jill Hennessy is set for a recurring role on CBS drama series Madam Secretary. Hennessy will play Jane Fellows, Henry’s (Tim Daly) new Defense Intelligence Agency handler who is a commanding yet discreet political operator known for keeping cool in a crisis and who might not always see eye-to-eye with Henry. Her character will be introduced during the series’ second-season premiere on Sunday, October 4.

Téa Leoni stars as Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord, along with Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Geoffrey Arend, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Željko Ivanek, Keith Carradine, Kathrine Herzer, Evan Roe and Wallis Currie-Wood. The series is produced by Revelations Entertainment, in association with CBS Television Studios. Hennessy is repped by APA and More/Medavoy.
