Spectre, the 24th installment of the James Bond franchise, will have its world premiere in London on October 26. EON Productions, MGM and Sony made the announcement today. The film opens domestically on November 6.

Spectre has some big shoes to fill. The previous Bond film — 2012’s Skyfall, also directed by Sam Mendes — was the biggest in franchise history, earning more $1.1 billion worldwide. It also holds the UK box office record. Daniel Craig reprises his role as 007 alongside Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.  The film is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
