Disney Pixar’s Inside Out has just crossed $500M worldwide in box office reciepts on Tuesday, making it the eighth consecutive Pixar film to reach the milestone and the third Disney release to do so this year. The animated family film, which was released in June, now stands at $510.1M through July 22. This is Pixar’s 11th film overall to pass that mark.
With $311.5M domestically, Inside Out has become the third highest grossing Pixar film ever. Internationally, it is open in 61% of the marketplace and has earned $198.6M. It has made roughly 62% of its money domestically. Major markets still to come include the UK, opening this weekend, as well as Germany and Italy.
The film debuted domestically on June 19 with $90.4M, the biggest opening ever for an original property.
