IFTA Re-Ups CEO-President Jean Prewitt & EVP Jonathan Wolf

The Independent Film & Television Alliance (IFTA) has renewed the contracts for CEO and President Jean Prewitt and Executive VP and American Film Market (AFM) Managing Director Jonathan Wolf through 2018.

Since 2000, Prewitt has headed IFTA, establishing the trade org as a public advocate for the worldwide independent film and television industry. IFTA addresses key issues including market access, copyright protection and enforcement, and net neutrality.

Wolf has transformed AFM since 1998 making it one of the prominent markets in the global film industry, and increasing the event’s attendance annually.

Chairman Paul Hertzberg exclaimed in a statement, “We could not be happier to have Jean and Jonathan continue on for the next three years. The pair’s steadfast commitment to the cause, visionary leadership, and insightful knowledge of the entertainment landscape has put IFTA and AFM at the forefront of our industry, and ensures that the interests of the global Independents are championed to great effect.”
