Matt Walsh and Michael Kenneth Williams have signed on to Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters. Sources say that they will play agents respectively named Rourke and Hawkins who vie to quell the Ghostbusters when they get out of hand. Both actors have made their marks recently on HBO shows: Walsh as press secretary Mike McLintock on Veep, which just ended its fourth season and goes into production this fall in Los Angeles; Williams as gangster Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire, which ended its run last October.
Williams, who is repped by WME and Silver Lining Entertainment, can next be seen in IFC’s miniseries The Spoils Before Dying and Paramount’s feature thriller Captive bowing on Sept. 18. Walsh is one of the co-founders of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, which recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary. He can next be seen playing a zany Russian thug in GRB Entertainment’s Bad Night on July 21 and in 20th Century Fox’s Jon Hamm comedy Keeping Up With the Joneses, out on April 1, 2016. Walsh is repped by UTA and Principato-Young Entertainment
