The Green Inferno marks Eli Roth’s return to feature directing for the first time since Hostel: Part II. From the look of things, the college students who thought they would visit the Amazon forest to save the natives from global catastrophe are greeted instead with something more along the lines of “Guess who’s coming for dinner.”
Needless to say, the natives don’t play too well with visitors who are more accustomed to the relatively more civil social media networking skills. With Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Sky Ferreira, Daryl Sabara, and Aaron Burns, The Green Inferno opens September 25.
