HBO today announced season premiere dates for comedy series Doll & Em, drama series The Leftovers and the premiere of Amy Schumer: Live From The Apollo stand-up special.
Season 2 of Doll & Em starring Emily Mortimer and Dolly Wells, will premiere Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 PM on HBO. Guest stars on the six-episode second season include Ewan McGregor, Olivia Wilde, Evan Rachel Wood and Mikhail Baryshnikov. Season 2 of The Leftovers, created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, debuts on Sunday, October 4 at 9 PM. The 10-episode second season is currently shooting in Austin, TX. And Amy Schumer’s first HBO stand-up special Amy Schumer: Live From The Apollo debuts Saturday, October 17 at 10 PM. Directed by Chris Rock, and taped May 29 before a live audience at New York’s Apollo Theater, the one-hour special features Schumer talking about her life.
In addition, HBO today announced its previously untitled rock and roll drama series from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter, is now titled Vinyl.
