Glee alumna Dianna Agron has landed a lead role in Hollow In The Land, an indie drama from writer-director Scooter Corkle. She will play Alison, a tomboyish lesbian who works at a pulp mill. A year after her father was put away for murder, she’s in a troubled state, but her troubles get worse when her brother goes missing. She sets out to find him. Along with her regular-then-recurring role on Fox’s Glee, Agron recently has appeared in the features Tumbledown, Bare and Zipper. She next stars in the indies Headlock and A Conspiracy On Jekyll Island. She is repped by CAA, LBI Entertainment and Hansen Jacobson.
Adam Goldberg has joined the cast of the Untitled Detective Movie from writer-directors Mark Cullen and Robb Cullen. Goldberg will play Lou the Jew in the film, which stars Bruce Willis, John Goodman, Famke Jannsen, David Arquette and Thomas Middleditch. Voltage Pictures is producing the film. Goldberg, who credits stretch back to Dazed And Confused and Saving Private Ryan, directed, co-wrote and stars in the just-released indie No Way Jose and is a regular on TV Land’s The Jim Gaffigan Show, which premieres Wednesday. Other recent credits include FX’s Fargo and the feature Two Days In Paris. Goldberg is repped by UTA, Luber Roklin and Levin Law Group.
