EXCLUSIVE: Paradigm has signed Karen McCullah, best known for co-writing with partner Kirsten Smith 10 Things I Hate About You, Legally Blonde, She’s the Man, Ella Enchanted, The Ugly Truth and The House Bunny. She also wrote and produced the dramedy Crazy Kind of Love. They have been working on ExpendaBelles, the femme-centric spinoff of The Expendables, as well as a remake of Sister Act at Disney. She did production rewrite work on The Civilian with Jackie Chan attached to star. On the TV side, McCullah has developed and sold multiple pilots, most recently this past year at USA through Universal Television with David Janollari producing, and plans to make an ever bigger push into TV. McCullah is managed by Seth Jaret at Content Engine. McCullah comes back to the agency and it comes at a time when Paradigm has picked it up with clients that have included Peter Segal and Michael Ewing, Peter Steinfeld and Ciro Guerra.
