Southland star Shawn Hatosy has booked a recurring role on AMC’s The Walking Dead companion series, Fear The Walking Dead, which has a two-season pickup. Set in Los Angeles (and shot in Vancouver and LA), Fear The Walking Dead focuses on new characters and storylines. Hatosy, repped by Paradigm and MGMT Entertainment, will play a well-intentioned but out of his element military man with a soulful disposition. He recently nabbed a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for his role in Southland and also had a lead role in CBS pilot For Justice. His film credits include John Q, Alpha Dogs, Anywhere But Here, The Faculty, In And Out, The Cooler, and Outside Providence, among others. He recently starred in Neil Labute’s Reasons To Be Pretty at the Geffen Playhouse
Madison McLaughin has been cast in a recurring role on NBC’s Chicago PD. She will play Michelle Carterini, a rough and tumble bad girl with a troubled past who is just looking for guidance and spends her time boxing. She is booked for the season finale and two additional episodes. McLaughlin’s other TV credits include Mad Men, Supernatural and Teen Wolf. She is repped by SDB Partners and Symington Management.
