Danny Deferrari and Stephen Gevedon have joined the cast of Madoff, the ABC miniseries starring Richard Dreyfuss as the now-imprisoned swindler. Inspired by ABC News chief investigative correspondent Brian Ross’ reports and his book The Madoff Chronicles, the mini follows the rise and spectacular fall of Bernie Madoff and the $65 billion Ponzi scheme he concocted. Deferrari will play Madoff’s son, Andrew, who along with his brother alerted the feds to their dad’s scheme. Gevedon is money manager Robert Jaffe, the unctuous and unrelenting son-in-law of Madoff friend Carl Shapiro who uses his connections at the Palm Beach Country Club to entice Madoff to create a partnership.
Repped by Innovative Artists, Deferrari’s credits include X/Y, The Longest Week and Pan Am. He next appears in the features It Had To Be You and Kensho At The Bedfellow. Gevedon’s recent credits include The World Made Straight, The Devil You Know and Hellbenders. He next appears in the HBO miniseries Show Me A Hero. He’s repped by Vanguard Management Group and PMW Management in the UK.
