Rob Morrow (Texas Rising) is the latest to join the cast of FX’s American Crime Story: The People Vs O.J. Simpson. He will play Barry Scheck, the co-founder of the Innocence Project who is called upon by O.J.’s defense team for his DNA expertise. The miniseries takes a look at the O.J. Simpson trial told from the perspective of the lawyers that explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the court, and how a combination of prosecution confidence, defense wiliness, and the LAPD’s history with the city’s African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt.
In addition to his role in History’s Texas Rising miniseries, Morrow has upcoming guest spots on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer and Denis L. Leary’s Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll on FX. Morrow also recently directed an episode of The Fosters for ABC Family and will return for another episode this upcoming season. Morrow is repped by Gersh, Berwick & Kovacik, and Jackoway Tyerman.
