The Good Wife creators/executive producers Robert and Michelle King have tapped Liz Glotzer to run their production company, King Size Productions, which is based at CBS Television Studios. The Kings are building up their shingle under the new three-year overall deal they signed with CBS TV Studios in September. Glotzer comes to King Size Prods from Castle Rock Entertainment, where she served as President.
“Not only does Liz have spectacular taste, she has years of experience working with wonderful feature writers — many of whom are now looking to explore TV,” Robert and Michelle King said.
Glotzer had been at Castle Rock Entertainment since the company’s inception and was named President in 1996. During her tenure, the company has produced more 90 films including When Harry Met Sally…, Misery, A Few Good Men, City Slickers, Best In Show, Miss Congeniality, The Polar Express and Michael Clayton.
In addition to supervising all aspects of production and development for Castle Rock, Glotzer has produced or executive produced 17 movies including The Shawshank Redemption, Fracture and Two Weeks Notice. Prior to joining Castle Rock, she was an executive at the Samuel Goldwyn Co.
Robert and Michelle King are repped by Paradigm and attorney Jon Moonves at Del Shaw. Glotzer is repped by David Fox.
