Imagine you once could fly and do all the stuff that superheroes are supposed to do. Then imagine those abilities were taken away from you and now you’re an LA cop investigating those who still have such talents and who seems to be killing them off. That’s life for Christian Walker. And that is one of the major plotlines for PlayStation Network’s first original scripted series Powers, which sees its first three episodes debut at midnight tonight on the gaming platform. The rest of the 10-episode first season will premiere early each Tuesday until they are all up.
Intrigued? Then check out the trailer above looking at the whole first cycle of the superpowered series. For you non-fanboys, Powers is based on the graphic novel created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming. Warning for you delicate-eared sorts: This trailer hasn’t been edited for occasionally salty language and some intense images.
