The Mazda hawking, magic debunking Las Vegas regulars will play a six-week engagement at Broadway’s Nederlander-operated Marquis Theatre, beginning July 7 and wrapping August 16. The run comes 30 years after their New York bow and 40 years after their debut as a team. They will immediately return to their run at The Rio in Vegas following the Broadway engagement, which will include both elements of their Las Vegas show and classics from their comedy/magic repertoire.
Their last New York stage appearance was a week-long engagement at the Beacon Theatre in 2000. Their numerous honors include an Obie Award, an Emmy, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The summer show will is being produced by Marc Routh, Richard Frankel, Tom Viertel and Steve Baruch, who produced their New York stage debut and each of their subsequent Broadway and off-Broadway engagements: Penn & Teller: The Refrigerator Tour and Penn & Teller Rot in Hell.
