Call it the dog days of summer. Warner Bros has moved the release of its Boaz Yakin-directed pic Max up by two months to June 26. The film about a wayward teen who befriends the military dog that was partnered to his older brother, a Marine killed in action in Afghanistan, was set to bow August 21. Josh Wiggins, Thomas Haden Church and Lauren Graham star. It now will face off against a pair of comedies: Universal’s Seth MacFarlane sequel Ted 2 and Clarius Entertainment’s The Outskirts.
