Mark Goffman, who served as executive producer/showrunner on Sleepy Hollow for its first two seasons, has left the Fox/20th TV supernatural drama. Talks are underway with a potential new showrunner for the series, which has not been renewed for a third season yet but its odds are considered promising at the moment.
Meanwhile, Goffman is moving to CBS TV Studios, where he has signed a two-year overall deal to supervise and develop new projects. His series credits also include USA’s White Collar and NBC’s The West Wing, Studio 60 and Law & Order: SVU.
“Mark is a highly regarded showrunner and has emerged as a unique voice that crosses worlds and genres,” said Julie McNamara, EVP Drama Development at CBS TV Studios.
Goffman is repped by UTA and attorney P.J. Shapiro at Ziffren Brittenham.
