Greta Lee (New Girl, Wayward Pines) has booked the female lead in NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot Sharing, from Universal TV and Jimmy Fallon’s Eight Million Plus. It is a workplace comedy about the different groups of people working side by side in a shared office space. Lee, repped by CAA, Regarding Entertainment, and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer, plays Heidi Salazar, the face of Giftr. She’s desperate for the app to make Wired magazine so she doesn’t have to go back to her old accounting job. Lee’s other TV credits include Girls, Inside Amy Schumer and Nurse Jackie. Her feature work includes St. Vincent, While We’re Young and Hello I Must Be Going.
Nancy Lenehan (Sex Tape) and Izzy Watts have joined the cast of Fox’s untitled Dana Klein comedy pilot, from 20th Century Fox TV and Kapital Entertainment. Written/exec produced by Klein and directed by Pam Fryman, it is told from the point of view of Ellen (Jenna Elfman), a working mom who is in constant competition with her perfect, stay-at-home sister-in-law Amy (Liza Lapira). Lenehan, repped by Pakula King & Assoc. and Meghan Schumacher, will play Anita, mother to Matt (Matt Letscher) and Jack (Brian Austin Green). Anita is often the unwitting participant in a battle of wills between her sons’ two wives. Watts is Frankie Stanley, Ellen and Matt’s daughter. Brutally honest and annoyed from the time she wakes up, she is not a people-pleaser.
