It’s just over a month until the blockbuster series based on George R.R. Martin’s books returned to HBO but today Game Of Thrones fans got another look at what to expect in Season 5. This is actually the second trailer released for the new cycle of GoT – HBO put out a previous one at the end of January. The series has also seen S5 key art and photos teased out earlier this year by the cabler. The new season of Game Of Thrones debuts on April 12.
Debuting at today’s Apple product event, where HBO formally announced its new HBO NOW streaming service, the nearly 2-minute trailer shows a wide range of the GoT characters, some bigger dragons and the promise of a major clash coming. “Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell, they’re all just spokes on a wheel,” says the Emilia Clarke played Daenerys Targaryen in the spot “This one’s on top and that one’s on top and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. We’re not going to stop the wheel. I’m going to break the wheel.”
