Falling Skies‘ Sarah Carter has landed a series regular role opposite Thandie Newton and Cole Hauser on the third season of DirecTV’s suspense drama Rogue. Carter will play Harper Deakins,
a mid-level DEA agent who doesn’t always know when to shut up. Shooting on Season 3 begins next week in Toronto. Season 2 revolved around Grace (Newton) moving forward with her life after finally avenging her son’s death in Season 1. However, when the young female undercover operative she was responsible for went missing, Grace is forced to go back undercover inside Ethan’s (Hauser) security firm. Carter, repped by APA, manager Darren Goldberg and Barnes Morris Yorn, is coming off the fifth and final season of TNT’s Falling Skies. On the film side, she has upcoming indies The Guard, Buried Secrets, Christmas Sky and Shallow Graves, all scheduled for release later this year. She has recurred on CSI: New York and Dirty Sexy Money and was a regular on Shark.
Richard Gunn (Dark Angel) has joined the cast of Netflix original series Hemlock Grove for its third and final season. He’ll play Aitor Quantic, a mysterious stranger who comes to town. Gunn, repped by Global Artists and Untitled Entertainment, currently stars in BYU-TV’s ’60s-set Cold War drama series Granite Flats. He’ll next appear in features Dark Places opposite Chloë Grace Moretz, Charlize Theron and Christina Hendricks; actioner Gridlocked and horror-thriller Lower Bay.
