Oscar Voting Ends At 5 PM PT Today

Final ballots for the 87th Oscars are due today at the downtown LA offices of PricewaterhouseCoopers by 5 PM PT. Thanks to the Presidents Day holiday, Saturday was the last day to mail ballots to get them in on time. Deadline’s Awards Columnist Pete Hammond noted the intensity of the Academy’s get-out-the-vote campaign in recent days as it’s become clear many members are waiting til the final hours to vote, with online balloting allowing for that. Still, a surprising number of Academy voters still vote via paper ballot, so those are the ones that will be clogging traffic today.

The Oscars ceremony is Sunday at 5 PM on ABC.
