Five months after Jane Turton was upped to Managing Director at All3Media amid the company’s sale to Discovery Communications and Liberty Global, she has been handed the CEO job. The UK-based TV, film, and digital content company said in September it was launching a “global search” to replace chief executive Farah Ramzan Golant, who exited after the $902M deal closed. Turns out it didn’t have to look far.
“It’s a hugely exciting time to be leading an international production company,” Turton said in a statement today. “With its wealth of incredible talent and breadth of award-winning content, All3Media is in prime position to take full advantage of the opportunities opening up in the ever-changing content market.”

She was named COO in 2011 and had been leading the company on an interim basis since September. All3Media has operations in UK, USA, The Netherlands, Germany and New Zealand
