Turner Broadcasting today named Jennifer Dorian general manager of Turner Classic Movies (TCM). She will report to Coleman Breland, President of Turner Network Sales (TNS). Additionally, Genevieve McGillicuddy has been promoted to vice president of brand activation and partnerships for TCM, up from senior director, reporting into Dorian. Both are based in Atlanta.
Dorian most recently served as chief strategy officer for Turner Entertainment Networks. In her new job she is charged with growing and developing the TCM brand with revenue-generating business initiatives, and enhancing TCM’s value to its affiliate partners. In its announcement Turner identified TCM as a “lifestyle brand.” Dorian’s now oversees the TCM Classic Film Festival and the TCM Classic Cruise, etc.
McGillicuddy is responsible for leading development and implementation of “brand activation initiatives” including sponsorships, licensing, and merchandising, as well as brand and retail partnerships. She also serves as managing director of the TCM Classic Film Festival.
