With voting coming to an end today for the Producers Guild awards, the first big industry kudos that will be presented tomorrow night, it’s nail-biting time. Although Boyhood has swept through the majority of critics awards, the race for Best Picture could be turned on a dime if something other than that film takes the PGA crown. That fact isn’t lost on The Weinstein Company, which saw its The King’s Speech pull off a stunning upset over another critical favorite, The Social Network, at the PGA ceremony in 2011.
Perhaps that is why they are pulling out all the stops to remind voters of the achievement of their all-American producing team Teddy Schwarzman, Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky, who have all earned their first PGA and Oscar nods for the much-acclaimed The Imitation Game. Take a look at this exclusive featurette to see how they pulled off this achievement.
The PGA Awards ballots are due at 5 PM PT.
