Hulu has renewed its original series The Hotwives of Orlando, with the setting for the spoof comedy shifting to Las Vegas with a new cast. Season 2 is set to return later this year.
The Paramount Digital Entertainment series was created by NBC’s Marry Me scribes Danielle Schneider and Dannah Phirman, who will return with executive producers Jonathan Stern and Paul Scheer. Season 1’s cast featured Casey Wilson, Angela Kinsey, Kristen Schaal, Tymberlee Hill, Danielle Schneider and Andrea Savage.
A la Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, they fight and bicker and backstab while living the good life. The show premiered over the summer.
“Las Vegas was an obvious choice for the second season of the Hotwives franchise because it’s a city built on broken dreams, fake boobs and real magic,” Scheer said. “Season 2 will focus on a new crop of wannabe socialites with some new faces as well as old faces that just look new.”
