Boyhood continued its strong awards-season showing, picking up Film of the Year, Best Director for Richard Linklater and Best Supporting Actress for Patricia Arquette at the London Critics Circle Film Awards.
Under the Skin won for British Film of the Year, while that film’s composer, Mica Levi, received an award for technical achievement for her score.
Michael Keaton (Birdman) won for best actor, and Julianne Moore (Still Alice) for best actress. J.K. Simmons won for best supporting actor for his work in Whiplash, and Wes Anderson won best screenplay for The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Other notable winners included Citizenfour for documentary and Leviathan for foreign-language film. The critics gave Miranda Richardson the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film.
