Nominations for the 21st annual SAG Awards are being announced this morning at LA’s Pacific Design Center and live on TNT and TBS at 6 AM PT. (Stunt ensembles will be announced at 5:50 AM PT.) Ansel Elgort and Eva Longoria are joining SAG-AFTRA president Ken Howard unveiling the lists, which will cover Actor nominations for outstanding performances in five film and eight TV categories.
Following the noms, voting info will be mailed Tuesday to the entire active membership of SAG-AFTRA, who will vote on all categories. Online votes or paper ballots are due January 23, and awards will be handed out Sunday, January 25 at the Shrine Auditorium in LA in a ceremony airing live on TNT and TBS.
Last year, American Hustle took the Outstanding Performance by a Cast honors on its way to an Oscar Best Picture nom, with ABC’s Modern Family and AMC’s Breaking Bad taking top TV honors as best comedy and drama, respectively.
