TV veteran Bianca de la Garza will launch her weekly half-hour late-night lifestyle and entertainment TV show, Bianca Unanchored to nearly 3 million homes across the Northeast on Saturday, January 24th at 11:35 PM ET. The show, produced by de la Garza’s recently launched Lucky Gal Productions company and Embassy Row, has been licensed to air in nearly 3 million homes across the Northeast on WCVB Boston, MA, WMUR in New Hampshire, and WMTW in Portland, ME.
Embassy Row’s Deirdre Connolly and John Jude Schultz (Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live) will serve as Executive Producers of the program, in which de la Garza interviews celebrities, dishes on pop culture, highlights hot spots and getaways in the Northeast, and features segments on dating, fitness, fashion, wellness and beauty trends. The show will be taped in the Northeast and New York City in front of a live studio audience.
Last February, WCVB reported de la Garza would sign off as co-anchor at the station’s EyeOpener morning news program in May after five years, in order to develop entertainment programming under her new company banner.
“I am working closely with Michael Davies and the team at Embassy Row to put together a fun, smart and enlightening show that will help our viewers live their lives to the fullest,” she said in today’s announcement, adding that Dunkin’ Donuts has also come on board as a launch sponsor for Bianca Unanchored and would support the series through a range of advertising, social media promotions and in-store appearances by de la Garza.
