Hot off winning Dancing with the Stars, Alfonso Ribeiro is staying in the reality arena with Hometown Rebound (working title). It is one of several projects the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum has in the works with Thinkfactory Media, the ITV-owned unscripted and scripted production company founded by Leslie Greif. This marks a reunion for Ribeiro and Thinkfactory who previously collaborated on the 2013 ABC Family spelling bee competition series Spell-Mageddon, hosted by Ribeiro and produced by Thinkfactory.
Hometown Rebound is described as a new twist on the makeover genre that features Alfonso working with entire communities as they tackle big projects that result in big reveals. Thinkfactory’s Adam Reed, Adam Freeman and Greif executive produce alongside Ribeiro and his manager, Konrad Leh of Creative Talent Group. “America has proven once again that they love Alfonso, and we want to keep him right in their hearts where he belongs — both in front of and behind the camera,” Reed said.
Next for Thinkfactory is the History miniseries Texas Rising, a followup to the company’s smash Hatfields & McCoys.
