AJ Buckley (CSI: NY) has landed a series regular role opposite Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson in TNT’s Murder In The First. The cop drama series from Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal chronicles a complex homicide investigation that spans an entire season. Buckley, repped by Global Artists Agency, Thruline Entertainment and Jackoway Tyerman, will play Marty “Junior” Mulligan, Hildy’s (Robertson) brother, a police officer who is recently promoted into her unit.
Buckley most recently appeared in The Mentalist and Hawaii Five-O and previously had arcs in Justified and Supernatural. He stars in and produced upcoming feature Home Sweet Hell, which is set for release in March, and has been tapped to guest star on Netflix’s Narcos.
