Another agent from folding Resolution has found a new home. Talent agent Rachel Sheedy has joined Equitable Stewardship for Artists. The venture, started more than two years ago by Paul Alan Smith, also has hired two others as agents, Varun Monga and Antoni Kaczmarek. The three will join Smith, Lee Rosenbaum and Tyler Allen. Sheedy, who joined Resolution this past summer after spending sixteen years repping actors in film, TV, and theater for Don Buchwald & Associates in New York, will be bringing along her clients Gina Gershon, Molly Ringwald, William Sadler, Celina Jade, Bill Sage, Manny Perez, and Heather Matarazzo, among others. Monga also joins ESA from Resolution. He worked as an assistant/associate to Jeff Berg at ICM and then Resolution, which Berg founded. Monga has repped Ablakhad Brothers, whose project North of Reno just sold to New Line Cinema with Beau Flynn attached to produced. Kaczmarek, who recently was an executive assistant in series development at FX Networks, will be joining ESA later this year. Previously, he worked with the MP Literary Department at ICM Partners and as an Agent Trainee at UTA. ESA’s client list includes Adam Arkin, Harry Belafonte, Marc Buckland, Charles Burnett, Joe Chappelle, Allen Coulter and Niels Arden Oplev, among others.
