The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 12 for its fifth season. Lurching and stumbling and shooting and bashing zombies, all while lording it over pretty much all the rest of television, cable or network, the series has built up an army of fans eagerly watching it cast of close-knit band of humans fight off the hordes of the undead.
Featuring Andrew Lincoln as Sheriff Rick Grimes, with Steven Yuen, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride, Walking Dead is the show that actually beat the usually unbeatable NFL among the key adults 18-49 demo a couple of times last season. Based on the comic series co-created by Robert Kirkman, the TV series is executive produced by Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Scott M. Gimple and Tom Luse along with Kirkman.
