Moniqua Plante (Pillow Talk) has been cast in a recurring role opposite Eric Close on ABC’s country music drama Nashville. Plante plays Natasha, a character that was introduced last week, and is expected to provide some jaw-dropping twists for Teddy Conrad (Close). Plante, repped by The Atherton Group and 24/7 Management, is set for a minimum four-episode arc.
Florence Faivre (The Elephant King) has landed a series regular role on SyFy’s The Expanse, a series based on James S.A. Corey’s series of novels. A thriller set 200 years in the future, The Expanse follows the case of a missing young woman who brings a hardened detective and a rogue ship’s captain together in a race across the solar system to expose the greatest conspiracy in human history. Faivre will play Julie Mao, a smart and rebellious woman from a wealthy family who chooses a principled life of hardship and becomes involved in politically subversive activities. One Entertainment-repped Faivre recently guest starred on Amazon’s Alpha House and Fox’s The Following.
