Another lit agent from Jeff Berg’s folding Resolution talent agency has successfully landed elsewhere. Gersh has hired veteran Ian Greenstein as a senior agent in its TV lit department. Greenstein, who joined Resolution a year ago after a long tenure at Paradigm, will bring with him longtime client Steven Cragg (Happy Endings) who, along with writing partner Brian Bradley, are under an overall deal at Universal TV and sold two comedy projects this season, The Dirty ‘Burbs at NBC with David Janollari producing and a remake of Uncle Buck at ABC with Will Packer producing. Other clients coming with Greenstein to Gersh include Jeff Schechter, creator/executive producer of the new ABC Family series Stitchers as well as Mike Teverbaugh (Last Man Standing), Regina Hicks (Instant Mom), David Appelbaum (NCIS: New Orleans), Scott Kaufer (Boston Legal), Kira Snyder (The 100) and Bill Kunstler (The Crazy Ones).
“Ian’s impeccable reputation and business acumen will be the perfect complement to our Agency’s literary department,” said Gersh co-president Bob Gersh.
Greenstein is the latest Resolution lit agent to depart as the agency is winding down operations. Rich Green and Katie Cates landed at ICM Partners, Jennifer Good was hired by Paradigm, Abram Nalibotsky and Pamela Goldstein joined Verve, and Robert Lazar went to the Shuman Co..
So far, most of the action seems to be on the lit side. Resolution talent agents also have been talking to other agencies but no official transfers yet.
