Hayley Kiyoko (The Fosters) has been cast as a regular opposite Patricia Arquette, Bow Wow and James Van Der Beek in CBS‘ midseason drama series CSI: Cyber. Inspired by the work of real-life cyberpsychologist Mary Aiken, the CSI spinoff centers on Special Agent Avery Ryan (Arquette), who heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world.
The 23-year-old Kiyoko will play Raven, a rookie techie working in the Division. Her special skill is “youth culture” and she’s an expert in social media, cyber trends, and international relations. Raven, who works alongside “Baby Face” Nelson (Bow Wow), will possess a dark secret in her front story which Ryan won’t even know until it’s too late.
Kiyoko, repped by AKA, Principato-Young Entertainment, and Hirsch Wallerstein, will next be seen in Universal’s Jem And The Holograms.
