A&E Network is partnering with the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association to become the exclusive broadcast home to the 2015 and 2016 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and Critics’ Choice Television Awards. To kick off the deal, the 20th annual movie awards will air live from the Hollywood Palladium on January 15. No hosts have been set.
The deal marks the first time both awards will be housed under one roof. Last year, the fourth annual Critics Choice TV Awards aired on broadcast for the first time on the CW, where it drew 1.04 million viewers and 0.3/1 demo rating.
BFCA/BTJA were repped in the deal by WME and Greenberg Traurig.
