Relativity Studios is set for a busy couple of weeks about a year from now. The company today slated its Kate Beckinsale thriller The Disappointments Room for September 25, 2015, and Halle Berry pic Kidnap for two weeks later. Director D.J. Caruso’s Disappointments Room — about a couple who move into a new house with their young son only to discover a secret room within the attic where terrible horrors are unlocked — will go up against an untitled Blumhouse horror pic from Universal, along with Sony’s toon sequel Hotel Transylvania 2 and Warner Bros’ comedy The Intern. Kidnap, which centers on a mother who will stop at nothing to rescue her abducted son, opens October 5, 2015, against Disney’s animated redo of The Jungle Book.
